What’s in this Webinar:
It’s the time of year when companies are reviewing and updating their safety goals for 2023 and additionally as part of the annual OSHA reporting process they also review and evaluate the performance of their overall safety program. How do company leaders know how they are doing and what they should focus on for the coming year in the areas of safety and compliance? A comparison to the prior years’ performance data regarding the number and type of recordable injuries, workers compensation costs and a review of the “all industries” OSHA Top 10 citations are common sources of information safety leaders use to get the conversation going and draft S.M.A.R.T safety goals for the coming year. This month’s webinar will show you how to identify and use your North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to look up an OSHA Top 10 that is specific to your industry as well as industry specific injury data. We will then review how your code and injury rates influence your chance of ending up on a list of employers to be inspected by OSHA as part of their recently renewed Site-Specific Targeting (SST) program. Additionally, other regulatory agency Top 10’s will be reviewed to give your team local and topic specific areas of focus towards the goal of achieving safety and compliance for your facility and its employees.
