Noise Reduction In the Workplace
Excessive noise exposure is present in many industrial settings due to a variety of factors such as the operation of equipment or general manufacturing processes. Employers must be diligent by identifying noise exposure hazards and determining employee exposure through noise dosimetry testing. If employees are exposed to levels above OSHA’s Action level, the employer must control or reduce noise hazards in the workplace by using the hierarchy of controls. In this webinar, we will discuss how to determine if noise control or reduction is needed as well as the implementation of the hierarchy of controls.

This webcast will provide information on which industries are affected by the new rule and who must submit Form 300 and Form 301. It will cover the industries impacted by the initial rule, the submission requirements, the submission process, and the deadline for submissions. We will explain what industries are impacted by the initial rule, what needs to be submitted, how to submit, and the deadline for submissions.
