Every facility in the United States is powered by electrical energy, and inevitably at some point, that system will need to be serviced. Electrical work involving troubleshooting, repairs, installation, or even routine maintenance can expose employees to electrical hazards. OSHA has multiple sections on electrical safety that all employers must adhere to, from how electrical installations happen to the proper use of extension cords. If employers have designated maintenance or facility employees that perform electrical work, they need to be prepared to protect them. Our webinar will focus on the roadmap to electrical safety following General Industry rules. We will focus on risk assessment, training, and protection methods that can be implemented at every worksite.
